Correction: Persistent incisional pain at 1 year after craniotomy: a retrospective observational study

Following publication of the original article [1], the authors reported that the Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval date mentioned both in sections “Methods” and “Ethics approval and consent to participate” were incorrect.

In section “Methods”

Incorrect statement: The statistical protocol for this secondary analysis was approved on February 24, 2022, which waived the requirement for informed consent given the retrospective nature of the study.

Corrected statement: The statistical protocol for this secondary analysis was approved on August 3, 2022 with the IRB approval reference number 3376 by the institutional ethics committee of Nara Medical University, which waived the requirement for informed consent given the retrospective nature of the study.

In section “Ethics approval and consent to participate”.

Incorrect statement: The statistical protocol for this secondary analysis was approved on February 24, 2022.

Corrected statement: The statistical protocol for this secondary analysis was approved on August 3, 2022 with the IRB approval reference number 3376 by the institutional ethics committee of Nara Medical University.
